I moved from Canada to Miami when I was 17. No winter, no school plan, and honestly, I thought detailing would be easy down here. It wasn’t. The competition in Miami is real, and nobody was waiting around for a teenager with a pressure washer.
My dad is the only entrepreneur in my family, and he’s the one who inspired me to bet on myself instead of going the traditional route. I had the option to stay in Canada and become a mechanical engineer. I chose to leave all of that behind and build something I actually loved instead.

Miami is where Reflekt was built, but Ottawa is home. As the business has grown, splitting time between the two made more sense than staying in Miami full time — so we’re opening a second Reflekt Auto Finishes location in Ottawa, Ontario.
